On Saturday, January 18, 2025, the Limburg Youth Symphony Orchestra (LJSO) organized an inspiring masterclass for clarinet, given by Jules Baeten, solo clarinetist of Philzuid.

During the clarinet masterclass, several beautiful works were performed, including Aria for Peter, Poulenc's sonata, Mozart's clarinet concerto, Brahms' first sonata and Henri Rabaud's Solo de Concours. Orchestral excerpts were also performed from The Nutcracker, Rite of Spring, Dances of Galánta and symphonies by Beethoven and Shostakovich.

In addition to the individual sessions, Jules also led a group session for the entire woodwind section, in preparation for the concert during the Groot Heiligdomsvaart on January 26.
