ABOUT LJSO
THE ORCHESTRA
The Limburgs Jeugd Symfonie Orkest is the only youth symphony orchestra in Limburg. The aim of the LJSO is to let young musicians in the age category 14 - 25 years play together at the highest possible level in a fully-fledged symphony orchestra.
The orchestra consists of students from conservatories, music schools and young talent from private education.
THE CONDUCTOR
The LJSO works with different conductors per project. For the autumn project Sander Teepen will conduct the orchestra in Octobre 2024.
WHAT WE OFFER YOUTH TALENT
Playing in an orchestra is a fantastic experience: playing together with other musicians at a high level and experiencing all kinds of music. Your concentration and 'dare to play' grows. In addition you build extra skills on your instrument. Our coaches are focused on your personal guidance and encourage you to join the group.

LJSO Foundation
The Limburgs Jeugd Symfonie Orkest was founded in 2010 with the aim of letting young musicians in the age group of 14 - 25 to play together at the highest possible level in a fully-fledged symphony orchestra.
Renumeration policy
Board members do not receive any renumeration or expense allowance. The LJSO foundation subscribes to the Governance Code Culture.
Financial control
Our annual accounts are externally audited by accounting agency Brother Consultants & Partners. The financial statements from 2026 till 2022 have been approved.
