On Sunday 26 January 2025, the Limburg Youth Symphony Orchestra (LJSO) and the Chassé Choir Breda will perform a special concert in the historic Koepelkerk in Maastricht. The programme, put together on the occasion of the Groot Heiligdomsvaart, promises a musical journey through works by some of the greatest composers in classical music.

The concert takes the audience along masterpieces by Brahms, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Bizet, Handel and Mendelssohn. One of the absolute highlights is the performance of the Heiligdomsvaartlied, a unique work composed by Frank Steijns in 2018. This impressive piece will be performed by the LJSO, the Chassé Choir and the renowned soloists Marjon Lambriks and Huub Claessens.

Under the direction of conductors Sander Teepen (LJSO) and Max Smeets (Chassé Koor Breda), this concert brings together a unique collaboration between young talent, experienced musicians and vocal stars.
